status.ehasa.org

Live maps, objectives, notices, tasks, tracked assets and event statistics in one place.

Current event: Kesämättö. What you can see depends on the event configuration, your login and your faction or administrator permissions.

Using Status during an event

1

Check the selected event.
The event selector controls which map, flags, tasks, items and notices are loaded.

2

Open only the map layers you need.
A smaller layer selection keeps the map clear and improves performance on mobile devices.

3

On the map, use the lower-right status controls.
The connection button shows the latest successful update and available permission actions. The GPS button starts or stops your own location sharing.

4

Prepare before entering weak coverage.
Open the necessary pages and save the visible map area while a reliable connection is available.

Connection and offline operation

The map's lower-right connection control tells you whether Status is online and when live data was last received. If the connection drops, previously opened pages and saved map data may remain available from local cache.

Offline data is not live. Captures, notices, positions and task changes arrive only after connectivity returns. Location updates created while offline are queued and sent when possible.

What you can do

Available functions vary between events and user roles.

layers

Interactive map

View event areas, services, routes, objectives, GPS devices and drawings. Search the map, change layers, use fullscreen and locate your device.

flag

Flags and scoring

Follow live flag ownership, captures in progress, control duration, scoring values and faction-level results.

task_alt

Tasks and items

Find public or faction-specific objectives, schedules, locations, attachments, event items and QR-based identifiers.

notifications_active

Notices and notifications

Read operational notices and enable browser notifications in User settings. Notification categories can be limited to the information relevant to you.

my_location

Location sharing

A logged-in user may share an approved browser or Android location to the event map. Sharing remains selected across page changes until you turn it off.

offline_pin

Saved maps and replay

Save the visible basemap for offline use, download a map image where available, and review stored event history through Replay.

Quick troubleshooting

Map is blank or incomplete
Check the connection control, select another basemap, then reopen Layers. A saved offline map only contains the area and zoom levels that were stored.
Your location is missing
Allow precise location access, enable the device GPS and try outdoors. The accuracy circle grows when the reported position is less precise.
Information looks outdated
Open the connection control and check “Last update”. Refresh the page only after confirming that a network connection is available.
A page or tool is not visible
Confirm the selected event and login. Some pages are faction-specific or available only to event administrators.

Permissions and privacy

Status asks for notification and location permissions only after a user action. Your browser or operating system controls the final permission. Location sharing can be stopped from the green GPS button and the stored sharing preference is then removed.

Browser background tracking is limited by Android, iOS and desktop power-saving rules. The Android app may provide more reliable background operation where native tracking is enabled.
