MISSION: ARTILLERY RAID

Intelligence indicates that the enemy artillery poses a significant threat to upcoming operations. At the same time, the faction’s own artillery must be protected against possible enemy sabotage.

The faction’s task is to defend its own artillery from 2300 onward and carry out a sabotage raid against the enemy artillery position. The enemy artillery must be sabotaged no later than 0300.

During the mission, the faction must also locate its own rallypoint backpack and deliver it to its own base.

The faction that successfully sabotages the enemy artillery will disable the enemy’s use of indirect fire on Thursday between 0900 and 1500.

A permanent respawn point is located near the faction’s own artillery position and may be used for respawning during the mission. Respawn does not apply to vehicles.

Mission objectives: 

• Defend your own artillery from sabotage starting at 2300.
• Locate and sabotage the enemy artillery by 0300.
• Find your faction’s rallypoint backpack.
• Deliver the rallypoint backpack to your own base.
• Prevent the enemy from using indirect fire on Thursday between 0900 and 1500.

According to TSTOSNEWS, a damaged trailer-mounted mechanical device marked RSV has been spotted in the Halivuori area. The device is believed to be significant and potentially valuable, and must therefore be located and secured.

According to the report, the device is damaged and appears to be missing at least one wheel. The faction should be prepared to repair, move, or otherwise restore the device to operational condition.

The exact condition of the device is unknown. However, according to an eyewitness interviewed by TSTOSNEWS, the device briefly activated and produced smoke or exhaust fumes, meaning it should not be treated as ordinary scrap.

According to news reports, a control panel for an anti-aircraft missile has been found in the area. The news story includes an interview with a local retired officer, who says that the control panel and any missiles potentially connected to it — or at least the threat they pose — may still exist.
